Myanmar uses 3 different calendars: Gregorian Calendar, Lunar Calendar and Buddhist Calendar.Myanmar has monthly festival according to Lunar Calendar. Full moon day of each month there is festival. Among 12th months, Light festival on full moon of Thadingyut (September – October), full moon of Tasaungmone (November – December) Light festival for planet, full moon of Kasone (April – May) festival for Buddha day are outstanding monthly festivals in Myanmar.
