Day 1 : Muse –La show- Thibaw (Hsibaw)

Welcome to clients at immigration check point and drive to Thibaw , the former capital of Northern Shan State. Short visit to Lashio local market. Upon arrival to Thibaw,  check in at the hotel and visit. Overnight at Thibaw.

 

Day 2 : Trekking around Thibaw

Morning breakfast at hotel. Half day walking tour from Thibaw to three traditional villages pass rice fields and season cultivated field. After visiting villages take the boat to and travel along Doatdhawady river and stop at Shan villages on the bank of river and enjoy beauty of Thibaw Myit Sone area: beauty of nature. Then back to Hotel.

 

Day 3 : Thibaw   -    Pyin Oo Lwin    

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to railway station and take train to Naung Pein. Enjoy Myanmar rail service and have a wonderful experience pass over famous Gok Hteik viaduct : Second world highest Viaduct. Upon arrival to Naung Pein take private car and drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, is formerly known as May Myo  during the British governors lived. The town is once British hill station is famous for cool weather, colonial buildings, natural parks and waterfalls. The town is also known as the City of Flowers and situated 1040m above sea level. Visit Peikchinmyaung cave and fall. Upon arrival to Pyin Oo Lwin check in at the hotel. Stroll around downtown of the town and visit to evening market. Overnight at Pyin Oo Lwin.

 

Day 4 :   Pyin Oo Lwin   - Mandalay 

Visit to Kandawgyi Botanical Garden established in 1915 by Alex Rodger,  enjoy pony cart drive  and visit Pwe Kauk waterfall. In the afternoon drive to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay.

 

Day 5: Mandalay –Amarapura- Innwa- Sagaing

Morning breakfast at hotel. Short drive to Amarapura and visit Mahagandayone monastery: school for 1200 Buddhist monk. The most interesting time to visit that monastery is at 10:15am when all monks enter to dining room for their lunch. Then visit traditional hand woven silk workshop. Visit the village in which all villagers make different items made of clay that we still use in our daily life. Proceed to Innwa. an artificial island, one of the ancient capitals of Myanmar  and visit Bagaya monastery, Menu Ok kyaung  and ruin of Innwa by horse cart . Then drive to Sagaing. Visit to top of Sagaing Hill for beautiful panorama over Ayeyarwaddy river and holy hill, stop at monastic education center to see how Myanmar children survive to study. Drive back to Amarapura and visit U Bein bridge (during sunset time) which is the longest wooden bridge in the world. Then drive to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 6 : Visit Mandalay and Mingun  

Morning visit Jade market which is very famous in Mandalay and see how Myanmar craftsman produce different kinds of jade from the biggest stone to the smallest piece by hand. Then transfer to jetty and river cruise to Mingun for one hour.  Mingun is small village which is situated on the western bank of Ayeyarwady river. Visit unfinished pagoda, the world biggest bell, and monument of love. Then go back to Mandalay by boat. In the afternoon visit Mahamuni pagoda; one of the three important places in Myanmar in which can see Myanmar daily life, Shwenandaw Monastery; former Mandalay Royal Palace, the world biggest book and finally go up to the top of Mandalay Hill to admire the city Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay

 

Day 7 :  Mandalay – Bagan  by boat

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to jetty and navigation along the Ayeyarwady river  to Bagan. Upon arrival to Bagan transfer to Hotel and check in.  Overnight at Bagan.

Please note that there is no express boat in the summer and raining season ( April to September) . Crystal Zone will arrange the transfer by car or by flight instead of by boat.

Day 8:  Full day visit Bagan

Visit Bagan. Bagan is archeological zone of Myanmar as well as land of Pagodas. Morning visit Ngakwengadaung pagoda which has bubo  shape and the oldest pagoda of Bagan and around that place one can see evolution of Myanmar stupa, Pathothamya temple in which you can see amazing lighting system and beautiful painting, Nyaung U authentic market, Soya bean maker at Nyaung U village, fan maker family, Shwezigon pagoda in which white elephant stopped, stop at Bu Le thi pagoda which is nice place for panorama over Bagan. Visit Ananda temple which is known as the most beautiful temple in Bagan, amazing handmade lacquare workshop, Sulamani temple where you can see two layers of painting from two different epoca, enjoy   sunset from Nanmyint Tower. Overnight at Bagan.

 

Day 9 : Bagan

Morning drive outside of Bagan and visit to local farm where local family make sugar from palm tree and make cooking oil from peanut and sesame that will give you experience in touch with local farmer. Back to Bagan and stop at the village to observe daily life of Myanmar farmers. In the afternoon enjoy horse cart drive among the ruins of Bagan. Overnight at Bagan

Day 10: Bagan   -    Heho   -    Inlay lake

Morning breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport and fly to Heho which is situated on Shan Platnue . Take a scenic drive on the mountain side of Shan State to the lake which is located in Nyaung Shwe on the way visit Shwe Yan Pyay monastery and temple. Upon arrival  to Nyaung Shwe take the boat ( 5 pax each boat ) visit Phaung daw oo pagoda which is the temple for 5 buddha images and villages on the lake to observe their  ways of life and overnight at Nyaung Shwe/ on the lake.

 

Day 11 : Inlay lake   -   Indein

Full day visit Inlay lake: visit colorful every five days market, floating villages, silk and lotus weaving, Ngaphechaung monastery, stop at family where you can make picture with Padaung ladies, visit ruins of  Shwe Indein . Overnight on the lake/Nyaung Shwe.

 

Day 12 : Inlay Lake   -  Heho   -  Yangon

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival to Yangon transfer to hotel. Yangon is the most important commercial city in Myanmar. Stroll in down town of Yangon, old Yangon at Indian quarter , stop at Sule square for photo shoot  which is the heart of Yangon, visit  shwedagon pagoda that is the most venerable pagoda in Myanmar. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 13: Yangon and departure.

Morning breakfast at hotel and stop at Nanthida port to take ferry boat which cross Yangon river that join between Yangon and Dala, by taking ferry boat for 15 minutes one can realize about Myanmar transportation system and real life of urban people nearby big Yangon city, enjoy trishaw ride at Dala to visit the village: candle maker family, rice paper maker family and fishermen village.. Stop at  Kandawgyi Park. In the afternoon transfer to Yangon international airport and fly to……..
