Kalaw is charming Hill town in Southern Shan State. It is also known as British Hill Station is located 1300 meters above sea level with many trekking trails to Inlay lake and Pindaya. Kalaw can be reached by road from all parts of Myanmar. There is airport at Heho valley which is just half an hour drive from Kalaw. There are public buses from Yangon, Mandalay, Taungyi and Bagan. Kalaw can be reached by rail from flat land – Mandalay. Train ride from Kalaw to Shwe Nyaung or Kalaw to Sintaung are the most attractive schedules.
