Deedok fall and blue pond

Deedok fall lays just one hour drive from Mandalay. After leaving the car at the park walk along the narrow and stony lane. 2 or 3 bamboo huts along the way sell local soft drink, snack and coffee. Their another income is collecting sab from wild Almond tree (Bot name – Sterculia Foetida ) in the forest. First 20 minutes is up going then walk in the jungle which is quite flat.

After 35 minutes walking start to take the narrow and steep stair toward the fall. June to second week of Oct, planty of water. From November it gets dry and no more fall just enjoy swimming in the blue pond. It will be slippery in raining season because of rocky, narrow and steep route, but nice walking in the green forest to the beautiful fall. If you do not mind for clean dressing room, it is recommendable to bring suite and towers to enjoy swimming in the natural blue pond.
