Mandalay - Ywa Ngan – Blue Pond – Taw Kwe – Mein Ma Ye Taung - Pindaya

After driving 3 hours from Mandalay approach to lovely small hill town- Ywa Ngan inhabitant by Danu tribe. There are fertile land endless fields of marrow plantation, sesame fields and coffee plantation.  Elephant Head Mountain which lies next to the small river is one of the charming places to stop for some photo shoot along the way. Ywa Ngan is home land in which famous Genius coffee was born. It is recommendable for coffee break at Ywa Ngan.  Proceed driving after having fresh coffee, fresh mind to beautiful famous Blue Pond. It is small pond water color is always blue in the middle of small jungle after nice walk along the river and stair. Few minutes visit to local market to try local noodle is not bad experience.   Another 15 minutes’ walk will bring you to Taw Kywe fall. It is recommendable trip that attract travelers by traveling in the nature and not popular as main tourist destination. After another half an hour drives Thakhima taung (or) Mein Ma Ye taung which is similar to Taung Kwe zedi at Loikaw.  Hundreds of steps will bring you to the top of the hill for amazing panorama over Shan mountain and green valley. Then proceed to Pindaya.

Mandalay - Ywa Ngan – Blue Pond – Taw Kwe – Mein Ma Ye Taung – Pindaya is recommendable road trip travelling from flat land to Shan Mountain. Local travelers prefer day return trip from Mandalay. Those places can be reached by private car as they are saturated on the main road from Mandalay to Pindaya,
